W. L. Hall Co. Watertown Housing Authority Translucent Panel Skylight Replacement Project
Challenges:
The installation of the new skylights was performed in November of 2021. Weather poses a huge challenge to skylight projects. We need to be very cautious of rain and snow potential when doing skylight replacements. Once a skylight is opened up, it can take hours to close back in weather tight.
What We Did:
Through diligent planning we were able to procure all the components for a smooth, quick skylight replacement with minimal exposure to the elements. We communicate well with the installation team and the customer to make sure everyone is comfortable with the forecast and the risks daily.
The Outcome:
The customer appreciated our communication throughout the project and was delighted with the new, more energy-efficient skylight that will last another 50-years like the original.
